Award-winning brand designer Simeon Goa sits down with us today to talk about his Victoria-based branding biz, Brand For Loyalty, in this month’s installment of Nifty Networking.

What does your business specialize in and what kind of demographic do you serve?

“I provide visual brand design and strategy for solopreneurs, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations who provide exceptional services. I help create creative and distinctive visual brand solutions for new businesses. I also provide guidance and facilitate the efforts of established entrepreneurs, and organization leaders, to find flexibility, or renewed confidence, in their existing visual branding.”

Tell us about yourself. What first got you working in your industry? What motivates you to do the work that you do?

“I love putting the pieces of the proverbial puzzle together, and have been working on visual branding projects for over a decade. I love the practical and strategic side of the job as much as the graphic side. I really enjoy meeting new people, and learning about what they do. Helping my clients achieve their goals makes for a performative and thoughtful job that I find very stimulating.”

What is your biggest accomplishment as a service provider?

“My biggest accomplishment is that many of my logo and brand designs are still around working for my clients.”

What are three things clients should know about the value you provide?

“I learned early on that while visual branding appears to be kinda superficial, and is often treated as such, it is integral to a company’s ability to build trust over time. The infamous rebrand debacle with Tropicana clearly illustrates this point. I am very client centric which means I am always seeking to improve my services. I work to make sure my clients to feel in control throughout their project. I am a good listener.”

Where else can people find your business?

My LinkedIn.”
